First things first, I am very excited to about two things. My husband and I are buying a car tomorrow. It is something my husband is very excited about because it is something he has always wanted, and after test driving it myself, I kind of really want it as well. It is a white, 1996, t-top, Trans Am. It is really slick, with black leather on the inside, and it’s really fast. I know absolutely nothing about cars, and I mean absolutely nothing, but I do know it has a corvette engine in it (because my husband told me). The first time we test drove it; my husband came and picked me and our 1 year old son up for a ride. I wasn’t too fond of it because it was very claustrophobic compared to our 2003 Chevy Suburban that I am used to being in. I felt like I was in a box and very low to the ground. Riding in the passenger side was fun because it was something different and because I know how happy my hubby was driving it; but sitting in the driver seat when I got to drive it was amazing. It has so much more power than our Suburban has and I love the sound it makes; especially when I started it, it has a race car sound and it is very sexy.
My husband has worked so hard his entire life, and he is the most selfless person I know. He would give anything to anyone if they asked which isn't always a good thing. So for him to get this car and have something that he wants for himself and something that will make him so happy all the time, makes me happy too. He doesn’t get much and I think he has deserved this.
The second thing I am really excited about is my husband is now going to school at Southern with me. He is going for 4 years to get his bachelor’s degree. He is going to major in Political Science and minor in Psychology. After graduating from Southern, he is going to go for another four years to a Law School. So I can officially say my husband is going to law school, although he’s not officially in a law school yet until he gets his bachelor’s degree, but he is going to school to become a lawyer. I am so excited. I know how smart my husband is and how he makes everyone around him feel stupid because of how smart he is, and going to law school is something he has always wanted to do. But do to a pregnancy with his ex wife, he never went to school because he had to work to support his family. Although he is 27 years old now and he thinks sometimes that he is too old to go to school now, I am very excited he is, and I am definitely going to push him to do something that I believe his is going to ace through. I am so excited to see my husband put his smart brain to good use, and this will definitely help him feel better about himself as well.
So as of right now, I am having a great ending to this week. Let’s just hope that it stays that way and nothing comes up.

Tell your hubby congrats on the decision, and that you're never too old for college. One of my best friends when I was a student at Southern ('02 grad) was 42, and the other one was 50! One lady I met a few times (communications major, where I was an English major/Spanish minor) was 98! So, no: 27 is *not* too old.
