Dad Leaves Kids Locked in Car Outside Strip Club, cop says

I found this story on KTLA News.
Michael Galloway, 36 year old from McKinney, left his 3 year old and 9 month old children in his car while he went to the strip club. He locked the doors, and had the windows up, on his car that was illegally parked, with his children inside. He went across the street to a strip club called Pandora’s Men’s Club. The report said he, “was in the Dallas County Jail on Tuesday on bonds totaling $10,000.” Galloway told police that he was only inside the strip club for about 20 minutes, although witnesses said, “he was drinking inside for at least an hour.”

My first thought was how horrible this was, and if this is something I would want done to my children. I love my children with everything I have, and I could not even fathom leaving them in a car with the windows rolled up by themselves. Especially since they are 3 years old and 9 months old.

My second thought about this was where in the h*ll was the mother. And what mother out there wouldn’t know where their children are at all times. A 9 month old baby would need diapers changed, and bottles every couple hours. It’s sad that this happened and I feel so bad for these kids. At least the children are young enough to possible not remember this. It is things like this that traumatize kids and make them all screwed up when they grow up. Maybe the father was a “sex addict” which I don’t believe in by the way, and this is why he chose a strip club over his children's safety. I think it is men’s way of defending their cheating actions. The other sad part is the fact that the strip club has to take the crap for this. I’m sure this is not the good publicity they were looking for. The thing is though, is that the strip club is not responsible for what their customers were doing or are going to do outside of their club. I’m sure had they known about this situation, they would have done something. But I’m sure they don’t think to ask every customer that walks through the doors if they left their kids along in a vehicle. The report said, “a tow truck driver discovered the children late Friday across the street from Pandora’s Men’s Club.” This poor guy had to find these kids in the condition they were in. I could not imagine finding something like that. I would probably bust out a window while crying and trying to rescue the children. I have to at least give the father credit for being a complete idiot and parking stupidly, because had he not, the kids may not have even been found until the father’s “strip club needs” were met.

Kids are so innocent and there’s no reason for something like this to happen to them. People like this don’t deserve to keep their children. I hate seeing kids in foster care, because I would rather see them with their own parents, and I know that it can have a bad affect on some children, but when their parents are worse of then a foster care, then I think it would be in the child’s best interest to put them in a good home with people who love them and would pay more attention to them then their deadbeat father.

  1. People like that discuss me. He needs his wee wee clamped off for a month. Then maybe he could control his urges. That is crazy to leave two small children in a car. Does he not see all the stuff about the sick people out there? This is crazy.
